Athearn’s Burlington Northern GP38-2 in HO

John evaluates Athearn’s new “Ready-To-Roll” locomotive series. The first release is of a single road name — Burlington Northern — in a single road number. Number 2085 is the second of two BN locos to wear the slogan “Pacific Pride” and is emblazoned with the seven logos of the major railroads which merged or were acquired to form the Burlington Northern Railroad.
